I thought Dani (Libertie) was going to bring this up because we were talking about it a while ago, but I guess not.
In any case, we are raising the minimum post count to become an official member to two hundred posts in order to prevent people from posting fifty times to gain access to the extra tools and then leaving forever. Therefore, should we not also raise the minimum post count for a layout request from fifty to two hundred? Because if we didn't, it would be the same case--people would post fifty times and then ditch the forum once someone made a layout for them. |

I agree. But I don't think people would really care about raising the post count rule since they still post requests even if they have no posts. I just hope they follow it. It's annoying having to tell them to get 50 posts!

QUOTE(Mikestah @ Jan 13 2006, 7:35 PM) Which is why we have moderators. ![]() -- But yeah, I hate that people can get away with that. I did one layout request here and I will never do another one unless I know the person/have talked to them. It's frustrating for all that work to go to waste because the person never makes it to 51 posts. I feel like it might still be the same way even if we raised it though.. I'm not sure how to remedy that. |
