Photoshop Glitter Text, Glitter Text Options

I need help!!!!!!!!!! I heard about amking glitter in photoshop and wanted to know how to do it. I am currently using the new version of photoshop, which is CS2 version 9. I have found tutorials here and other online tutorials and cannot seem to get it. There seems to be serverla variations on making glitter text in photoshop (i assume based on the tutorials I found). I tried it in one tutorial here that was posted here a while back and I think I got it but I can't seem to get it to be animated. Here it is:



Did I do it right? Please help me someone. Could someone break this down for me step by step? You can even e-mail me at unknown_being@workoutgenerator.com.

I tried it again using the same tutorial http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=51561 . How do I get it animated? Here's how it looks:



Now here's the thing, I tried to make gitter text using another method, which was doing it by already having the glitter made, taken from this tutorial http://members.cox.net/erin3429/tut/tut.html. Eventhough, I did mess up by creating another layer and frame I pretty much got it right. Here's how it looks:



So, my question could I use this method instead to make the glitter text.
