Problem:

i have my background picture, but now i want to put links on just certain parts of the picutre

for example, on my background picture the word "message" is on there, and now i want to see if there was any way to put a link ON TOP of the word "message" in the picture.

do you have to do another div layer on top of just that part, and then make it transparent and put a link to it? and if that's so, how do you put it as the top layer and as being transparent so that the word "message" shows up?

sorry if this is confusing; it made sense in my head but if it doesn't in yours, i will try to clear it up. :)

Well, sounds to me like you want an image map or something along the lines. You can try it out over HERE. But I've never tried image maps with Myspace. Idk if they work or not. Haha, confusing, but I hope it helps. O_O
