yea my friend which is majoring in media communication and he uses a canon rebel and he loves it so far i havent heard any complaints. Ohh and fujifilm is the way to go if you dont want to spend that much for a quality camera. i am also planning to buy an slr when i go to college i was thinking of buying one but i wanna be sure that i buy the right one when i start taking classes.
