the tears full of sadness and memories of better days ; tears from broken promises and broken homes ; tears because daddy never cared and mommy always yelled . the tears that fell from lonliness and failure ; unheard prayers and unheard wishes . the tears that marked the end of a beginning and the beginning of a never, always, lie . the tears caused from shattered dreams and shattered hearts, letdowns and breakdowns, fears, hits, and bruises .
these are the tears that are swirled, mixed, blended together, to paint the fake smile hanging crookedly upon her happy face . |
