what music did you grow up on & has your taste in music changed dramatically since then?

I've grown up on the pop classics that made Cantonese music famous throughout the 80's/90's. I listened to Jacky Cheung, Leon Lai, Aaron Kwok, Andy Lau, Anita Mui, Leslie Cheung, and some other people. I didn't know how to read Chinese or even speak it too well, but I was able to sing all these songs and dance along with them too. =p
As I grew older, I listened to English pop...then a change to rock music and R&B. Now, I mostly listen to some select English music and lots of Hong Kong and Korean pop. |
