Right now, the rules state that it is strongly dicouraged for someone to nominate themseselves, unless they feel that strongly that they are qualified. And I'm sure that the staff feels that they don't think that the people that nominate themselves layouts are that qualified, So I would think that one of the by-laws that be added would be to not allow anyone at all to nominate for their own myspace. becuase the whole point in nominations is to have someone else be a voice for you..
edit// It does turn-out that this is only the case in myspace, but I don't think it would go over to well if it was only a rule for the myspace-of-the-month but the decision rests in the hands of the by-law mods This post has been edited by tcunningham1589: Jan 2 2006, 01:00 AM |

^ I agree, I hate when people nominate themselves for having a layout that they just changed a couple of colors on. Those people somehow end up getting a lot of votes, too. I think the winner should at least be able to prove that they put an effort into it. It may be difficult at first to tweak a couple of things, but more experienced users know that there is a lot more to it than that.
