I cant seem to do much on this site right now b/c it keeps giving me error reports and wont let me search for anything so if this gets closed..I understand.
ANYWAYZ.... I am really getting irritated each year by the stupid board of Ed. laws they make...the school nurse told me they mark you ABSENT for the whole day if you leave b4 3rd pd.. what the hell iz up with that? they close the health room by mid 4th pd so come on now..I've been extremely sick this year and cant stay home.. and the prices for food and drinks are horrible...$2.00 for a small lunch that doesnt even fill most kidz up.... ![]() and the board of Ed guy retired and they are still continuing to make stupid rules...do all you CB ppl think im overreacting or do you agree with me?? this iz driving me crazy. |

QUOTE(toria66622 @ Jan 3 2006, 4:44 PM) Read your first post. You asked if anyone thought you were overreacting. It seems to me that if you resort to swearing at people who disagree w/ that you are indeed dramatizing the situation. If you aren't willing to hear points-of-view that contradict yours, don't debate. If you have valid reasons for your views, post them. Otherwise, don't resort to immature behavior because people choose to disagree w/ you. Additionally, none of your rant had anything to do with rules established by a school board. Get your facts correct before you continue. Attendance policies are dictated by the state. Although I'm not familiar with your district, many contract lunch services to outside corporations based on bid criteria that are bound by a contract. The availibility of a nurse is dictated by the source of funding and contract language. The school board can't arbitrarily change it without approval by the union(s) that represent teachers, community input and any other stipulated organization. If you still feel slighted, quit bitching and attend the next school board meeting and voice your concerns. However, if you speak in the disrespectful tone that you have taken in this thread, don't be surprised if you are asked to leave. |
