i need advice. Options

hey. sooo, i've loved my ex boyfriend since.. a while ago. we broke up about 2 months ago, and i hadn't talked to him for a month, but i still thought about him every day. i can't get over him. i tried not talking to him, tried throwing away all of the stuffed animals he gave me, cards, notes, diaries, deleting the pictures.. it didn't work. there's something about him that i just can't live without. soo we started talking again, i went to his houseon thursday.. i told him i loved him, and surprisingly he said it back. 2 days later, something reminded him of a few mistakes i had made in the past & all of the sudden he hated me again. i have no idea what to do about it, either. he's really really REALLY serious about relationships, and love. i know most of you are probably going to say "get over him, move on" but i can't, i've tried. he's like the defenition of the perfect man to me. =\
so, there's a part 2 to this story... my best friend, megan [she has a boyfriend] loves my ex boyfriend to death. pretty darn weird if you ask me. i've told her billions and billions of times how much like cheating that is, she doesn't care. soo my ex boyfriend and her did "stuff" a while back, and i thought she learned her lesson, but of course.. she went and did it again. so now, my ex boyfriend loves her, i'm COMPLEETELY jealous, and she is happier than ever. i want to be happy for her, i really do, but my jealousy overpowers that..
please helpp. i don't know what to do... i don't want to lose my best friend over a boy.

And about the boy. Maybe talk with him. Talk to your best friend too. But, whatever you do, if you feel that he is the one youre supposed to be with, dont let anything get in the way. If you two, were truly meant to be, then fate will make it happen. You sometimes just have to be patient and wait by his side.

i talk with him about it every day, he tells me "you need to prove to me that you're serious about this. once i know for sure that you want to be with me forever, i'll go back to you." but i have noo idea how to prove it to him. i do feel like he's the one i'm supposed to be with, but each day i get more hurt knowing he loves someone else.

All I can say is, throwing away stuff which he has given is not going to help. Only you and decide what u want to do. If there's something inside which does not allow you to forget him, you cannot do anything about it. I've seen a lot of ppl go thru this. All a matter of choice.
Our decision of what is right and what is worng for us takes us in the respective path. Once ur concience is clear of what u have to do, u'll be able to forget him. If ur heart keeps nagging u "how can I forget him",..I m sorry dear, no one can help u. Its all upto u now.
Take things positively. U'll definitely get over it. Be happy. Life's got a lot to show us. Take everything in the right spirit.

Tell him what you have told us. That you never really were happier in your life until you met him. Like he brought light into your world. Sounds corny. But true, right ? Tell him that it is like he knows you better than you know yourself. If theres anyway you could be able to retrieve anything you threw away, make a scrapbook of it. Make little notes besides pictures a tokens from that day or gift and write little sweet things about what you liked. Im not sure how he is, and what would prove to him that you love him. But im not sure what you should tell him. Ask him, how he would like you ro prove you love him. Cos love makes us all do crazy things, right ?
