My girlfriend just got her drivers license and is now driving. She is very sensitive and easily scared so I told her that if something happened while she was driving, that she could call me and that i would come and pick her up. So...Today, it started to snow and she left her house to go to another party. At the same time, my phone ran out of batteries so it was turned off and i had to charge it. While it was off, she called me cause she was scared due to the fact that her car was sliding but since i didn't answer, she left a voicemail. When i turned on my phone and as soon as i got the voicemail, i called her. But, she told me that she soooo angry at me cause everyone made sure that she was ok...except me. Then she went on to tell me that she didn't want to talk to me and hung up. Now she's angry and crying at home and i dont know what to do. I miss her..

QUOTE(mouse_3k @ Jan 2 2006, 7:50 PM) ^ she obviously is..if she cant take the fact that shes going to be driving without NE one helping, then she shouldnt be driving at all ^That is a really good point. I know she just got her drivers license and stuff, but if she isn't confident about driving or whatever and has to have everyone hold her hand basically then she shouldn't be driving in the snow. She was over reacting, it's not your fault. If your phone was charging then obviously you couldn't talk to her. It's not like you could do anything about it. That girl needs to toughen up or something. When she calms down, call her and tell her what happened and everything, and tell her that you were worried about her. BUt that your phone was charging. Man, alive. If I were her friend I would tell her to stop being annoying and worried about herself driving and talking on the phone, and just drive to wherever she needs to be, and chill out. No offense to your girl or anything, but you didn't do anything wrong |
