i've been... lets say "seeing" this guy for about a month. i mean, its not like we're officially "going out" or anything... but everyone goes like "melissa? oh yea, she's going out with james" even though... we're really NOT. but like... we started as kinda a joke and we'd play around and act "together", and its almost gotten to the point where he gets really JEALOUS when i'm around other guys, etc. well anyways... summer's coming around and i want to "break up" but i dont know how to tell him that. because i can't technically say "lets break up" to him... but if i just go ahead and mess around [and i'm NOT being hoe-like] over the summer... he'll be like "WTF??" and i don't wanna do that... and anything else i'd say to him... he'd just take it the wrong way

and i really really don't like this guy that much anymore.

if you don't like him all that much anymore what's the point in playing? you may end up hurting both of you in the end if you drag it on. speak to him about it and tell him how you feel. you should be able to see other people without fearing he's going to get jealous. if you were never really together technically it's perfectly okay without his consent. however, if you're really good friends and you care about his feelings just clarify the situation so that he knows why you want to see other people. hope things work out for you..
