colouring black/white photos

one of their abercrombie models. wasn't actually sure of the colors, looks sort of right. think i shoulda added more definition in the face. kinda lost the lips and white in the eye.

1. Keep within the lines, you went waaay out of the around her hair line.
2. Fix the teeth and the under-layer shirt. They should be white (the teeth at least) and the shirt should be different from her skin colour.
3. Her eyes and her jeans could be better. Maybe some actual colour. I understand the picture is kinda small but that is why you use big ones =].
4. The skin tone is a little boring as someone else mentioned.

Just keep trying and you will get better

the problem is that it's hard to actually make out those lines dealing with such a small picture. if you zoom close enough to the trouble spot you'll see there are extra strands that're a mess to deal with.

2/3/4 like i said, i don't know these colours. it's black/white, you just can't tell and have to assume, the rest i'm totally aware of (my own last observations in my first post).
