Right now, the rules state that it is strongly dicouraged for someone to nominate themseselves, unless they feel that strongly that they are qualified. And I'm sure that the staff feels that they don't think that the people that nominate themselves layouts are that qualified, So I would think that one of the by-laws that be added would be to not allow anyone at all to nominate for their own myspace. becuase the whole point in nominations is to have someone else be a voice for you..
edit// It does turn-out that this is only the case in myspace, but I don't think it would go over to well if it was only a rule for the myspace-of-the-month but the decision rests in the hands of the by-law mods This post has been edited by tcunningham1589: Jan 2 2006, 01:00 AM |

well, if people think its good enough, then so be it. just because they dont get any votes doesnt mean they shouldnt be allowed to vote for themselves. maybe somebody will like it. i know if and when i nominate people, i dont look through everyones xanga/myspace/website so there are a lot that are overlooked. discouraging someone to not be able to vote for themselves leaves them no room to improve or see if others like it.
