My girlfriend just got her drivers license and is now driving. She is very sensitive and easily scared so I told her that if something happened while she was driving, that she could call me and that i would come and pick her up. So...Today, it started to snow and she left her house to go to another party. At the same time, my phone ran out of batteries so it was turned off and i had to charge it. While it was off, she called me cause she was scared due to the fact that her car was sliding but since i didn't answer, she left a voicemail. When i turned on my phone and as soon as i got the voicemail, i called her. But, she told me that she soooo angry at me cause everyone made sure that she was ok...except me. Then she went on to tell me that she didn't want to talk to me and hung up. Now she's angry and crying at home and i dont know what to do. I miss her..

Well, she's got a fear. First thing you do is comfort her: tell her "Hey ____, I know I told you if you needed a ride I would give you one, but last night I wasn't able to. I apologize, and I hope you can forgive me. My batteries were dead and by the time they were charged you were mad at me. What can I do to make it up to you? I would never not answer the phone when you called on purpose, and I hope you trust me enough to know that." then give her a teddy bear or something.
