Kanye West
What more can I say? He gained all his fame not only from Rapping, but importantly, producing as well. Some artists he produced for was John Legend & Common. His beats are a classic for sure. I think he is a big influence to all the producers out there in the game. He sure might deserve it. Dr.Dre Dr.Dre is one of the most successful, and well-known producers of hip-hop. He produced for many multi-platinum artists in Interscope Records, such as Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game, & of course himself. He is also my nominee. He will be producing Snoop's new/next album, The Blue Carpet Treatment which will be released later in 2006. Swizz Beatz Dont argue. His beats are most definetely ill. He made Cassidy's new album "I'm A Hustla" a crazy album. He is also of course best known for producing tracks for the Ruff Ryders record label. "Like That" By Bleek was a fire beat. Can't forget "Whuteva" by Remy Martin. He has produced music tracks for rappers such as DMX, Jadakiss, & Eve. He might be the one. Jazze Pha JAZZE PHIZZLE PRODUCTIZZLE!!! He is a dope southern producer for many artists including Nelly, Lil Wayne, Trick Daddy, T.I., Ciara, and Luda. He is much credited for bringing the R&B superstar, Ciara full attention with her album that was released in 2005, Goodies. His beats make me shake. So who do you think? ![]() |

Like Brandon said, hip-hop is based on samples. Take the "first ever hip-hop hit," "Rapper's Delight." It was built on Chic's "Good Times." --- My producer of the year nods go to Kanye and the Neptunes, specifically Pharrell. |

Pharrell rarely makes any beat by himself. But his sex appeal and celebrity overshadows Chad Hugo all the time. Never met Lil Skateboard P but I met Chad; he's a real laid back guy, and humble too. |
