I made a colorization of myself
I noticed once I was doing it, that i couldn't get great colors, so they started to get a dull feel. I guess thats now the look I'm going for. I also know that I didn't really do a good job staying inside the lines. I wasn't really taking my time, and I just wanted to see how it would turn out ![]() comments and criticism would be awesome |

to get brighter colors its really all about playing around with diff tones. its really difficult and timely to get the right skin color [its all guess and check]
sometimes it helps to have a brighter image. before you colorize change the 'brightness and contrast' of the picture. and sometimes what makes your colorizations more realistic is to flatten it > double it > gaussian blur the top layer (about 1.5-4ish) > set the top layer to a bleding option (screen or overlay work best) |
