i quit for a while but cB is just so damn addicting. i came back with a mic finally, and recorded some shit for yall. check it out at my soundclick and rate here please. i've also got some new pics...but that's another forum altogether, even though they are quite entertaining. o and about the song it's really quiet cuz i didn't realize the mic wasn't turned up, so i had to tune down the beat to make it distinguishable. so make sure your speakers are turned up.

For starters, don't try and put out that you're 'gangsta.' You'll be forever stuck in a Catch 22. The American public seems to feed off of whats gangsta in movies and music, but unless you have a rap sheet that proves you're as gangsta as you claim (i.e. proof that you flipped birds or if you have bodies on your record), no one will take you seriously. And, gangsta should never be your focus.
Say what you're going to say. Even with the volume turned up, I had a hard time deciphering what you were saying, almost as if you were mumbling. Don't mumble. It might sound weird to you because you're the one rapping, but keep in mind that your voice sounds different to us than you think it sounds. Do what you do. More power to you. But from a marketing standpoint the "Lil" prefix is hit or miss. |
