Many people on this site seemed to be defined by whats in their signature or avatar. Furthermore, its as though the person in a user's av/sig can be directly associated with the user.
EX. 1 I have no clue what KC looks like. But when I watch the Boondocks, he comes to mind. Why? Because of his av/sig. EX. 2 I'm not (somewhat) a fan of Joe Budden. And everytime I see the cover to Mood Muzik, Ding comes to mind *ding* How important do you guys think it is? Discuss. |

If I'm looking for a certain post, I look at the sigs/avs to find it quicker. And yeah, I also recognize people by it.
...I need a new sig, haha. |

And yes, I think that it gives a little bit of an insight into the person; if it's a music artist it shows what music they're into, etc. |
