I need a different kind of interent? Eh, I'm not sure what to call it. But, the layouts I make look completly different on Firefox and Netscape. (Those are the two I have.) IE dosen't work on my computer. I'm not sure why. It says that I'm not connected to the interent, but I am?
So is there another I can download for FREE that the page looks like on IE? |

i would stick to making it look better in firefox, as they use standards.
IE tries to set it's own standards. |

QUOTE(sadolakced acid @ Dec 26 2005, 2:46 AM) i would stick to making it look better in firefox, as they use standards. IE tries to set it's own standards. Of course, the biggest issue with that route is that IE has over 70% market share, so if you code something that doesn't look good/doesn't work in IE, most of the visitors are not going to be able to view the webpage correctly. The best solution is to stick with valid code that displays properly in all browsers. As long as you're not doing "weird" stuff, that's usually a simple endeavour. |

I think the thread starter is confusing the definition of browser with "internet" (as in, each browser is a different kind of internet), thanks to IE. |
