I haven't ran for a year and half, and I'm ready to start again because I am a bit overweight, lose the fat that rubs between my thighs (Go ahead, laugh.), and lose the bottom abdominal fat off. I know running does all that, at least that's what I heard. So my questions are:
1. Since I haven't ran for a long time, how long (time wise) should I run? 2.How many days should I run, I am still in high school; so how can I fit that into my schedule? 3.How long should I run, (the distance wise)? 4.How much pounds can I shed off in each week? I do want to lose about 10-15/20lbs, but I'm not that much in a hurry. And of course, I am going to eat properly(: Please reply and thank you for reading my post. |

1. Since I haven't ran for a long time, how long (time wise) should I run? probably about 30 minutes
2.How many days should I run, I am still in high school; so how can I fit that into my schedule? id say 3-5 days a week 3.How long should I run, (the distance wise)? start with a mile 4.How much pounds can I shed off in each week? well, i lost about 1 pound every day but then i eat and i gain it back. so im thinking youll lose about 3 pounds a week if you diet with your excersize routine. * add the amount of time and distance every week. do it little by little or else your body wont get use to it. since you said you wanted your tummy flatter, do some ab workouts. pilates, or using weights. only running wont cut it. im actually in track and run about 2-3 hours daily. i could give you some tips or could also answer your questions if you have any. just pm me. also, within your 1-2 week, your leg muscles are gonna get really sore. so make sure you stretch good! & just running wont help as much if you did more runnnig techniques. lunges are good to strenghten your calves, but be careful. i remember ripping a muscle freshman year because my legs were still sore. you can jump from box to box (place them about 1 foot apart with each box higher than the last) be gentle to your body. if you feel like you need to rest, rest! good luck! |
