Well, I bet there's probably another topic similar to this one.
Anyway, I like this guy at school. I've known him for 3 years. The first year I knew him, he asked me out. I would have said yes, but my parents told me that I wasn't ALLOWED to date. [ I was in 6th grade then ] Now, since the end of last year, I've started to like him. My friends keep telling me to ask him out. But, the thing is, I want him to ask me out. We talk every couple of days. Its not everyday, but we say 'hi' to eachother in school. & Obvioulsy since I like him, sometimes I look at him, and a couple times I would see him looking at me. What do you think this is? Does he really like me again, or is it just my imagination? What does this seem like to you guys? Er, I know that it's not much information to go on. But I would make me feel better if I got some replies from some others. =] |

In my experience, expressing your interest probably won'y ruin the friendship--even if it does cause a bit of awkwardness initially, that should quickly blow over. However, waiting is the problem--if you wait too long, he won't be interested anymore, or someone else will come along. You only get one shot at growing up--you might as well take a few risks along the way, if the rewards are valuable enough. If I were you, I'd just say something to him.
