Busing and ReSegregation, intergration Options

It seems as though places like school are becoming segregated again. I go to an all black school, with the exception of 3 or 4 asians and 3 or 4 hispanics. I used to do the M to M program. It was a program called Minority to Majority. Then they shut it off because of one man complaining about busing. It turns out he was a racist and didn't want blacks going to school with his daughter.(Which now blacks are moving into their community so...) Now they made me go back to my home school Towers. I don't live in the inner city and my neighborhood is black. Busing forced intergration. I loved going to Peachtree because of the fact that it was so many different races there. Now it is only one race. No diveristy at all. That is not how it is going to be in the real world. You will incounter people from all different backgrounds. So the question is Should we restart Busing

Yeah, I read an article about segregated proms...it's sad to know discrimination still exists today. It's quite hard to change someone's mind on something like that, though.

Wow, that's a neat prom theme. I've read some better ones though:

Affirmative Action Prom: Nerds get 50% off.

Freudian Prom: Ask your mothers. You know you want to.

Berlin Wall Prom: Boys and girls sit on opposite sides of the room. Anyone trying to cross will be shot by JROTC. At the end of the night, everyone gets together for one big dance and the Student Council is overthrown.

Vietnam War Prom: Everyone is escorted in by armed JROTC cadets through swarms of college protestors. You can have your picture taken in front of scenic burning village. Random gunshots are fired off outside the building, that get more intense as the night draws on. At the end, everyone is evacuated from the prom by helicopter.
