I have a question, for you all. Well, for those with domains, sub-domains, and of course, those who like to work with digital images:

Why? Why do you see yourself doing this? For fun, would be a simple and obvious answer, I suppose, but I'd like more than that. Do you see it as a learning experience, as well as being entertaining? Do you like having somewhere to show off your work, and perhaps hope to become a website that would inspire others? Do you believe it is some sort of training ground for you? (I mean, for those who are hoping to get into web design when they are older.) Do you see yourself doing this in your 30s or 40s? Or will this be just remembered as something done in your youth?

I am asking all of these questions, simply because I have all of the...resources, I guess to get something up, but I have come across one problem: I lack creativity and content. And while trying to motivate myself I start asking myself "Why bother, you are going to hate it, and doubt yourself" and "You will not be proud of your work, this is as far as you can go". So, I ask of you, to explain to me, what are your reasons? I am curious.

I'm unsure of where to place this..

^ I dont either, really. All my friends think i'm a nerd, cause I'd rather stay home and do something on the computer instead of going to a football game. We always loose anyways, so what's the use?

My host told me to join exposure, where 3 random people comment on your site and you comment on 3 other random peoples site. It's really a great thing..sort of.

I just know that having an up-to-date portfolio can help me in later life...I hope, at least.

Haha, all of my 'there-but-not-really' friends think I'm insane, since I never go out..
I don't think I could do that, the commenting 3 random people, and they comment yours..I would feel too pushy.
And yeah, I do think having a portofolio is good :).

That's why I think you don't need to overthink this, just do it if you like to do it. Don't question if you're creative enough, and don't ever compare yourself to other people. There will ALWAYS be people more creative than you are, but you should make the best of what you have. If you're not creative, then fine. That's your own brand of creativity, is how I like to think of it. Just being able to express yourself this way is enough for me. =]

Oh, you have no idea what those words mean to me. Thank you...
You should consider being a counselor .
