why?, [...] Options

I have a question, for you all. Well, for those with domains, sub-domains, and of course, those who like to work with digital images:

Why? Why do you see yourself doing this? For fun, would be a simple and obvious answer, I suppose, but I'd like more than that. Do you see it as a learning experience, as well as being entertaining? Do you like having somewhere to show off your work, and perhaps hope to become a website that would inspire others? Do you believe it is some sort of training ground for you? (I mean, for those who are hoping to get into web design when they are older.) Do you see yourself doing this in your 30s or 40s? Or will this be just remembered as something done in your youth?

I am asking all of these questions, simply because I have all of the...resources, I guess to get something up, but I have come across one problem: I lack creativity and content. And while trying to motivate myself I start asking myself "Why bother, you are going to hate it, and doubt yourself" and "You will not be proud of your work, this is as far as you can go". So, I ask of you, to explain to me, what are your reasons? I am curious.

Ooh, I understand that. Mhhm. I'm still trying to motivate myself, or else I'll end up locking myself out of my computer, because of this. Jeez, and yet I'm thinking of buying another domain..a .tv domain, hah. Thank you, I will continue to look into it, but I'd still like some more input from more members, please!
