Who are you?, A survey. Options

I've just returned to CB, and I feel so lost because I don't seem to know anybody anymore! However, I don't want to post a cliche survey because (a) it probably has already been posted and (b) I never care about the questions in those surveys. So here's a list of probing questions that would give me and the rest of the community a better idea of who each of you are, not what your favorite band is or if you've ever smoked pot or gone skinny-dipping. So here goes:

(3) What/Who has (or has had) the greatest influence on your life right now and why?
(4) What in your life do you value the most and why?
(5) Whom in your life do you value the most and why?
(6) What, do you believe, is your purpose on earth?

(8) Do you portray yourself to others in a way that is contrary to who you really are?

(1) What is your name?
Christy. Eh, I'm not shy about telling cBers my name anymore.

(2) Choose three adjectives to describe yourself.
Inquisitive, capricious, resilient.

(3) What/Who has (or has had) the greatest influence on your life right now and why?
At the moment, my family wields a lot of power over me. They're very demanding, but the things they ask for are making me stronger.

(4) What in your life do you value the most and why?
Family. I believe in that whole "blood is thicker than water" thing. We've been through such turbulent times and always held to each other. I value that we can accomplish anything when we believe in each other. I don't think a lot of families can say the same.

(5) Whom in your life do you value the most and why?
I don't have a certain special someone.

(6) What, do you believe, is your purpose on earth?
I can't answer this question right now. In a few decades, maybe I'll know.

(7) What, so far, have you contributed to the world?
To my community, I've given time, my skills, and patience. I do volunteer work with children, and I've helped my team in rasing over $10,000 in financial assistance money for recreational activities for families that cannot afford such luxury. Patience is usually reserved for those who exert a great need. To the people I've met, I've offered friendship.

(8) Do you portray yourself to others in a way that is contrary to who you really are?
Not all the time, no, but sometimes—when doing so can benefit both parties, yes.

(9) Pick a quote or two by which you live your life.
Argh, haha, this is going to be hard to explain but I choose to quote from the song "Superman" and Elizabeth Kenny.

It's not easy to be me"
No, I don't think I'm superman or anything like that. To me, when a person has tried his/her best but still fail, he/she is not a failure, just very human. I want people to see that in me, and I want to accept it in others as well. How did I get this from "Superman"? I don't know. =)

That quote is especially important to me because I lack control over anger when I know I can manage it.

(10) Is there anything you would like to change about yourself or your life?
With the current situation, I'd wish I was born rich or have good paying job so I don't have to worry about that damn tuition bill.

(11) What is your favorite place to be and why?
I love being at home because "there's no place like home". =) A home is not a house, by the way, I'm sure people can figure out the differences.

(12) Describe your life in five words or less.
Family, education, friends. <-sounds like a motto.

(13) What are you genuinely interested in?
Love.

(14) If money were not an issue, what would you do with your life?
Travel, travel, travel.
