I've just returned to CB, and I feel so lost because I don't seem to know anybody anymore! However, I don't want to post a cliche survey because (a) it probably has already been posted and (b) I never care about the questions in those surveys. So here's a list of probing questions that would give me and the rest of the community a better idea of who each of you are, not what your favorite band is or if you've ever smoked pot or gone skinny-dipping. So here goes:

(2) Choose three adjectives to describe yourself. 38, musical, dorky
(3) What/Who has (or has had) the greatest influence on your life right now and why? my grandpa, he is my favorite person in the whole world. i dont know where i would be without him. i probably wouldnt have gone back to playing the piano if he didnt live with us.
(4) What in your life do you value the most and why? my piano, when i'm playing it and no one is paying attention i just feel good, i can't explain it, but everything feels ok, even if im playing poorly
(5) Whom in your life do you value the most and why? my grandpa, like i said, he is my favorite person in the world
(6) What, do you believe, is your purpose on earth? i'm not sure
(7) What, so far, have your contributed to the world? i help my friends out, i am a shoulder to lean on, i'm a rock during hard times, i am there when i'm needed no matter how close we are.
(8) Do you portray yourself to others in a way that is contrary to who you really are? Yes. At school I am very quiet, cynical, and I just try my best to blend in. When I am outside of school I am the exact opposite.

(10) Is there anything you would like to change about yourself or your life? I'd like to be less cynical. Sometimes I feel bad about it.
(11) What is your favorite place to be and why? Australia. So many amazing memories. So many new friends. I miss it every day.
(12) Describe your life in five words or less. I'm too complicated for that
(13) What are you genuinely interested in? History. I wish my history book was more in depth. We learn the names of these great historical figures. But I want to know who they were, what they liked, that they disliked, what were their innermost thoughs? The things you know about your best friends, that's how I wish I knew the people in my history book.
(14) If money were not an issue, what would you do with your life? Move to australia and open a small, independant bookshop. I'd bring my family too. Ideally I'd like to bring my grandpa, but he wouldn't be able to move.
