I've just returned to CB, and I feel so lost because I don't seem to know anybody anymore! However, I don't want to post a cliche survey because (a) it probably has already been posted and (b) I never care about the questions in those surveys. So here's a list of probing questions that would give me and the rest of the community a better idea of who each of you are, not what your favorite band is or if you've ever smoked pot or gone skinny-dipping. So here goes:

(3) What/Who has (or has had) the greatest influence on your life right now and why? uh, I don't really know. I don't try to live up to other people's standards, I make my own.

(4) What in your life do you value the most and why? my friends, because they are always there for me and keep me sane!

(5) Whom in your life do you value the most and why? who? I guess right now it would be Emily, just because I think she can make me smile no matter what

(6) What, do you believe, is your purpose on earth? to make a difference

(7) What, so far, have your contributed to the world? uuhm. :3 i rang bells for the salvation army about twenty times, worked in soup kitchens, made spagetti and delivered it to hungry people, gave away stuff for the needy..

(8) Do you portray yourself to others in a way that is contrary to who you really are? Not -purposly-, but I guess people always think I'm scary or mean when they first see me because I hang out with the "freaks" (who are super nice and fun) and have crazy colored hair..but really I'm a nice person.

everyone wants to be the sun that brightens up your life, but i'd rather be the moon that shines on you in your darkest hour..

Real courage is knowing you're licked before you begin, but you begin anyways and see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.

(10) Is there anything you would like to change about yourself or your life? not really, i mean, i have some insecurities like my height and weight and stuff, but everyone is different, and i don't want to change to fit someone elses standards!

(11) What is your favorite place to be and why? i have fun anywhere! but i guess i like my room the most, just because i never have to worry about messing something up and because i always have my music playing

(12) Describe your life in five words or less. i have fun

(13) What are you genuinely interested in? tons of stuff! art, writing, poetry, photography, music, people, foods, habits..

(14) If money were not an issue, what would you do with your life? i would buy myself a nice house, not huge or anything, just with a good kitchen and a few good rooms, go to college to be a pediatrician, with a double major to become a social worker, and then help people..
