Since I could only put ten answers in the poll, I would think that a lot of people have more ideas :)

For me, the most romantic thing ever was actually the first time I cried in front of him and he wiped my tears away and kissed my eyelids and held me until I calmed down.

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is to ask "her"
to go to a special place with you, and as you go.

When you both arrive at your destination, remind her of all the times you been with each other, and how it happened from the very beginning.

Then kneel down and let her gaze into your eyes,
let her see that you want to be with her for the rest of your life.

She's shocked as she finds family, friends, people in her life that meant something, coming out of their hiding places, looking at both of you with warm smiles and waiting for the answer, as you pop the question.

"will you spend the rest of your life with me as my wife?" you ask,
her eyes water up from the pure joy and love she feels at the very moment.

As she replies, everyone claps and rushes to congratulate you both,
you feel like nothing in the world can go wrong now, because now you know,
you both will have the rest of your life together to love, to share,
and to grow old with each other.
