hmm. okay so i havnt posted anything on cb in ages. but i come here too much. definatly need a life -_-. but anyways. i guess i just want to know if anyone has the same problem as me.

you know how most of the time. its the boyfriend that is scared to death of the girls dad, because of him being overprotective and things?

well with me, its quite the opposite. we've been dating for 7 months or so, and my parents dont know. but they like him a lot. however, his parents seriously hate me. for awhile they forbid him from seeing me, i'm not entirely sure why. possibly because of one bad impression... but that was months ago. he told me they've never treated any of his past girlfriends this way. so i really dont know what to think. anyways. yeah.

any advice? i've tried writing them letters. but i always end up writing them, then throwing them away, because they never seem quite right. how do i convince them that i truly care about him when they wont let me near him?

^ Yeah. Face to face is the best way. Try having them come over for dinner at your house. Let your parents drone on about how much of a good student, person, and daughter you are.

Then try and see if you can go for dinner at their house. Now, be blunt but nice. Ask them plainly, " Is there any reason to why you dislike me ? " And see what happens from there (:. Good luck.
