1. This isn't a thread to bash hiphop. So don't come in here and just say, "rap sucks," or to say, "IDK I don't listen to rap," because I'll verbally rip you a new one. Thats a promise.
2. D4L, Mike Jones, Pretty Ricky, Lil Rob, etc; is not hiphop so don't talk about garbage like that or someone will verbally rip you a new one. 3. Spark some nostalgia and bring up the classics. After listening to Common's "I Used to love H.E.R." and watching Brown Sugar, I feel its necessary to ask this question... When did you first fall in love with hiphop? For me, it was when I was 5 years old and listened to A Tribe Called Quest's Midnight Marauders. Its the earliest memory of music I have. Have fun, mafuckas. ![]() |

hip-hop dosn't always need relevant lyrics. the sickest sh!t to me is ill multi's clever verses and the occasional punchline. That had none of the above.
