1. This isn't a thread to bash hiphop. So don't come in here and just say, "rap sucks," or to say, "IDK I don't listen to rap," because I'll verbally rip you a new one. Thats a promise.
2. D4L, Mike Jones, Pretty Ricky, Lil Rob, etc; is not hiphop so don't talk about garbage like that or someone will verbally rip you a new one. 3. Spark some nostalgia and bring up the classics. After listening to Common's "I Used to love H.E.R." and watching Brown Sugar, I feel its necessary to ask this question... When did you first fall in love with hiphop? For me, it was when I was 5 years old and listened to A Tribe Called Quest's Midnight Marauders. Its the earliest memory of music I have. Have fun, mafuckas.

hip-hop dosn't always need relevant lyrics. the sickest sh!t to me is ill multi's clever verses and the occasional punchline. That had none of the above.
aneways i've been listnin to this cat mfdoom alot for the last coupla wks. i heard of him b4 but im jus gettin in2 his sh!t. aneone else feelin him? |
