Well Does your school have a song? Our does here it is(Its the kahuku Alma mater):
In old Kahuku stands our Alma Mater Where the salt waves blow day after day Where are doors blow wide for our sons and daughters too Where the flag of freedom proudly waves above Hail Kahuku, Hail our Alma mater Hail to our colors red and white We will cherrish love and honor thee Oh, hail, Kahuku, hail... Some seniors made that up, and from there on everyone knows it on the North Shore. It's acctually quite nice. |

The song for the school I graduated from was a way watered-down version of "The Stars and Stripes Forever." It was awful. I don't remember the words. I'm pretty sure I have it on a mug I got from a football game once..
Funny, too.. We played the real version at our spring concert, and at school the next day everyone was like "Hey, I really liked that last song.. it had our school song in it! Where'd you get it? Who wrote it?" ..Poor, poor Sousa. ![]() |
