I've just returned to CB, and I feel so lost because I don't seem to know anybody anymore! However, I don't want to post a cliche survey because (a) it probably has already been posted and (b) I never care about the questions in those surveys. So here's a list of probing questions that would give me and the rest of the community a better idea of who each of you are, not what your favorite band is or if you've ever smoked pot or gone skinny-dipping. So here goes:

What/Who has (or has had) the greatest influence on your life right now and why?
Personally, I think everyone has had their equal share of influence in my life. A certain cousin of mine taught me that we've all got to have our reasons to be living on earth somehow. A certain friend of mine taught me that there is nothing to be afraid of. So I can never pinpoint a certain someone that has influenced my life.

What in your life do you value the most and why?
I value a lot of things. But I don't know. I think the most important thing to value is love. To be loved & to love is a special gift; People just so happen to throw that gift around somehow. I value it because I think it's important. I think the whole basis of my life is to love.

Whom in your life do you value the most and why?
It wouldn't be fair to leave out the people who have been there with me since the beginning. I value anyone who has been there for me. I value the people who listen to me and what I have to say. Those people are worth something. I value them for putting up with me because I know it's a hard thing because sometimes, I can't put up with myself.

What, do you believe, is your purpose on earth?
Hmm, I don't know yet. I think I'm on my way to finding that out. Personally, I think I'm here to help people find out why they're here too. I think we're all in it for the same deal. I think we're here to learn something valuable. What is it? I don't know yet... but I'm sure someday, it'll hit me hard.

What, so far, have your contributed to the world?
I've always thought that I'm such a little person in a big world and that I can never do anything to help the world or some sort. But there are times... when for example, I donate money for funds and reliefs. I think that's what I've contributed. Though it maybe small, at least it's something.

Do you portray yourself to others in a way that is contrary to who you really are?
How can I be who I am if I have no idea who I am?

Is there anything you would like to change about yourself or your life?
Nothing really. What I am is who I am... what I did is what I've done.

What is your favorite place to be and why?
This might sound a little weird but... I love being in my bed. It's just where I think and where I dream. I feel safe in my bed. Whenever I'm scared, I feel like I'm safe under my blanket. I've always felt that way in any bed I've been in. It's like a barricade for things... and it's like your free ride to somewhere. It's a wonderful feeling.

What are you genuinely interested in?
Emotion & the different mediums they're conveyed in/through/on.

If money were not an issue, what would you do with your life?
I'd probably travel the world and bring a couple of people with me. I guess I'd live as happily as I can... I mean, even if money were an issue, I'd still try living as happily as I can. So... yeah.

Wow. I found out a couple of things I never knew about myself before.
