okay so i really like this guy, and he's one of my close friends. we have like every class together, so i see him all day. we would talk online for hours, but could never really talk in school. he's never had a girlfriend. i've had three boyfriends. he has some social problems where he thinks everyone is out to get him. he thinks he has no friends and that everyone hates him. i want to help him and make him realize that this is not true. i knew he knew that i liked him, because i told some of his friends. so a few days ago i told him how i felt. which i realize now was a big mistake. i took some advice from his best friend who told me to "give him some space & let it sink in". i don't know what to do. i know he's afraid and probably WOULDN'T tell anyone if he had any feelings for me whatsoever. he told me hes "busy" right now with his band, school, & hockey. i haven't talked to him since, except yesterday when it was his birthday & i wished him a happy birthday. i want to wait and see what will happen.. but i was wondering what do you guys think are the chances? please please HELP!

maybe you guys are just better off being friends. why not ask him how he feels about you
