I have no idea if this is folliculitis or not...its not infected or red or anything. But maybe someone can identify it for me. I have really sensitive skin so its hard for me to shave with certain shaving creams and razors so I just use body wash and a 3 blade razor, but when I shave my legs or bikini line I never come out with a smooth shave. It feels smooth in the process, but when i step out of the shower I can feel it a little bit even when I know I got all the hairs! Especially on my thighs (mostly inner) I can shave and shave over and over the same area and i cannot get it to go smooth! I use a new razor everytime too! Am i the only one??? Not only that, but I can see the hair underneath...its not ingrown but I can just see it as if its peeking through my skin, and even if I run my hand over it it will sometimes be smooth but you can see it! So its kinda under the skin i guess, but its not really ingrown. I dont know if this makes sense. I went to see my dermatologist a year or so back about it but he just gave me a certain type of lotion/body cream thing to shave with which did not work at all! Come on please tell me im not alone here...does anyone experience this too and/or know how to fix it??

if your dermatologist(sp?) gave you the cream maybe you should use it and keep using it. I know that if you usa a lofa or something when your in the shower and SCRUB it makes your skin nice and smooth. I figured that out when I was trying to get fake tan off, I HATE fake tan but I have to wear it for dancing competitions, it takes ages to get off so for 2 whole day i was SCRUBBING like mad and my sking was super smooth so idk maybe that'll help. But don't scrub too hard or it'll damage your skin =/
