Winter Formal, What's going on? Where am I? |

So I've never been to a formal dance at school, and a girl asked me today. It's great and all, but the dance is this Friday and I didn't really anticipate this. But I digress.
I don't have the slightest idea what's going to go on, so for all you popular/social people, what the heck happens at a high school formal? Tips? Warnings? What's going on? What to wear? What not to do? Yea i have no idea what's going on and deer in headlights. Please help! All opinions welcome. |

I hated school dances, but basically don't leave her to go dance with someone else and you're money.
 Okay, so I'm joking, but really just have fun. I agree with mzbbc about the half dressy/half not thing though. |
