Winter Formal, What's going on? Where am I? |

So I've never been to a formal dance at school, and a girl asked me today. It's great and all, but the dance is this Friday and I didn't really anticipate this. But I digress.
I don't have the slightest idea what's going to go on, so for all you popular/social people, what the heck happens at a high school formal? Tips? Warnings? What's going on? What to wear? What not to do? Yea i have no idea what's going on and deer in headlights. Please help! All opinions welcome. |

well she's going to wear a pretty dress and heels and all that... sooo
you could either go all out and rent a tux, or you could wear dress pants and sneakers/dress shoes with a plain white tshirt and over that an unbuttoned dress shirt. ^that looks hot when you do it right.
