I would start with Paint Shop Pro 7 - it is easier to use than Photoshop, much much cheaper, and 8 and 9 aren't much better. Unless using dreamweaver or frontpage, you need to have a good grasp of html and css, see W3 Schools, their references and tutorials are brilliant. Not a must, but a very helpful is Web Standards Solutions (book). Expensive, but worth it. I hope this helps you. Kitty |
