I think one of the greatest games, more like a series was the roller coaster tycoon games. There so addicting and you can control so many aspects of a theme park.

The Final Fantasy Series. Though... they're starting to get too "slow" for me with the ATB and CTB and whatever battle systems in which you have to take turns... I'm getting more into the fast paced shooter games.
But I can still say Final Fantasy VII was one of the best games I ever played. I played that game for over 90 hours. Jeez.  And The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was a great game too. One of the best ever made in history. ...I never got done beating it though... I'm thinking of going back and hitting it up on the old Nintendo 64 someday...
