not just the whole "math, language arts, social studies, science"
but what part in the subjects do you find fastinating? there are some parts of algebra i actually enjoy doing. then social studies has so many events I like to learn about. World War II really interests me... Civil War And a lot of the wars in asia..I read a lot of books on those like Year of Impossible Goodbyes, Red Scarf Girl, Chinese Cinderella, and When my Name was Keoko. So what types of things in school do you actually enjoy learning about? |

Planning - loathe loathe loathe loathe loathe. There is nothing I enjoy in this subject. NOTHING. It's completely useless.
Math - I love graphing when teachers give you nice clean sheets to work with. When you have to cram all the reciprocal crap on a piece of lined paper it kills it for you. Math has always been awesome to me. I've never missed a beat. Socials - I particularly love this year's socials because I have my 8th grade teacher. He really makes you work, really makes you think. Every day we have a class-long debate about certain issues, I always leave the classroom feeling drained, but in a good way. P.E. - I liked the dance unit. That's always fun. =p English - I'm a mechanical person. The only aspect of English that I could possibly tolerate is essay-writing, because it follows such a strict structure and format, and nothing could go wrong. Science - Ugh. Nothing. I had an interesting experience today, but other than that...no. Mandarin - I learn nothing in this class. Ms Lu is a crappy teacher. Band - I love everything about band. There's really not much to say. |
