Joe Budden is garbage, and he's lost influence in the mixtape game. He can't hold a candle to Saigon, Jay Bezel or Jae Millz.

Some of those one-liners are clever but for the most part, you posted a lot of mediocre metaphors to prove your point. Just because you know his music, doesn't make him any better than what he is. Again, metaphors and clever rhymes don't mean shit if they have no meaning. All those Joe Budden quotes are just party lines. Still not impressed.

Its understandable that Joe Budden isn't a mainstream sensation. Most lyrical artists aren't (which is unfortunate), but why has he lost his underground influence? Hiphop heads in the northeast that are wise to the mixtape game just aren't feelin Joe Budden. I got a few of his mixtapes right before he made it big and had his 15 minutes of fame; he was ok; nothing great; certainly not enough for me to waste my time researching and quoting his lackluster rhymes on an internet forum.
