Since voting polls are very inefficient and let's say ineffective, in this thread, members can discuss the new staff nominations. This is the updated list where nominees have accepted their nominations. The number of times they have been nominated are next to their username. Discuss. :)

i only feel comfortable discussing people staff, as i dont visit the design section

mipadi I think michael would be an excellent staff member, he has experience, and is an intelligent friendly person. please, give me a good reason r two NOT to mod him.

M1SSxCHR1SSY Chrissy is phenomenal. she is sweet, friendly, dedicated, knows the rules, gets on with the staff team, and could not deserve the position more. one of my top two choices

YoGrandpaIsFine Urh... im sure she's lovely, but the only place i have ever really encountered her posts is in Forum Games... obviously, she must do more, as she got nominated several times, but Kelly doesnt do anything to 'stand out from the crowd' as a candidate in my mind.

sadolakced acid if Justin doesnt become staff, someone is going to be looking at the business end of a hissy fit. He has proven himself MORE than worthy by his work in feedback, the bylaws, and in the past working on CBNews. no tto mod him would be the single stupidest decision possible. My top choice.

DaTru KataLYST personally, i thought jeff was an excellent staff member. BUT. he did step down, if i recall correctly, due to the things said in moderator performance. even if it is over the top, i think mods should be able to deal with criticism slightly better than that. also, i dont think that his re-modding should come at the expense of a newer staffer who has great potential

lolita kitty here's where i start getting guilt pangs. i like cassie, i do, but i cant see her being a great staff member. i just dont think she has the maturity. Kiera said in her nomination of cassie that she was nominating (at least partially because) of her growth and improvement since she first joined the site. i appreciate this and agree, but modship shouldn't be about 'most improved'. it should be about 'most capable'. if, despite her growth, she hasnt reached the level some had to begin with, she should not be modded, which i feel is the case

yanners Yanlin would be a great staffer. i know her well through GenF as well as CB, adn think she has excellent people skills, and would be an asset to the team. It would be a shame to see her overlooked.

Hiphop d[-_-]b again, i'm sure Bella is lovely, and i have no sdisagreements with her, but, as with Kelly, i dont see her as standing out in the way that some other candidates do.

Kristinaa I'v eheard strong things about her from people that i respect, but i dont personally know her that well. i'm sure she would do well on staff, but i wouldn't like to see her modded at the expense of someone like Chrissy or Yanlin.

MyVermillionPlague I <3 Brie. she would be phenomenal as a staffer, but again... she has been a mod in the past. admittedly i dont fully understand the terms of her leaving the team, but, as with jeff, i dont think she sould be remodded over a potential staff newbie

wouldn't see him modded over some of the other candidates here

BrokenDream I'm sorry, i dont really know who you are... again, im sure your lovely, but you dont stand out to me as a great pick for staff
