Usually, when I plug my iPod into the computer, iTunes pops up and then the songs are updated onto my iPod. However, it doesn't do that anymore. I've tried updating iTunes and my iPod but it doesn't help. My iTunes says that my iPod isn't plugged in when it is because my iPod is charging through the computer.
My question is, how do I get iTunes to recognize my iPod so I can update my songs?! |

Does that USB port function properly when other devices are connected to it?

As for the iPod support site... Yes it is useful, but trust me, it's going to take a WHILE to figure out. I remember I went to the iPod support site, and two whole days trying to figure out the problem...  It's only useful to a certain extent. Some people still have their questions unanswered... Sad. I wish I could help them. :/ The poor customers and their defected iPod nanos.. :/
