The Scalpula:
http://ect.downstate.edu/courseware/haonline/figimgs/1_1.gif Its on the back of your body. I was just wondering, when u push your shoulders back, are u supposed to be able to see it and feel it? If not, does that mean u gotta lose weight coz you can't see it? I was wearing a singlet top today and my dad said that he's noticed that i'm getting fatter on the shoulders and my back...... so i was just wondering, if I can't see the scalpula bones anymore does that mean I need to lose weight?!?! Does anybody know? |

Oh, you mean the shoulderblades? I don't know, I don't think the visibility of the bone under your skin should be a basis for whether or not you should lose weight...it varies from person to person.
I know that I'm of an average weight, and you can hardly see my collarbones, but I know someone who is more curvy and her collarbones are very prominent. I don't think weight has a lot to do with it. For me, I can only feel my shoulder blades when...I reach for my right shoulder blade with my right hand, same with the left. *shrugs* Maybe you can try that. |
