I was just wondering...does anyone else think its ridiculous to call it 'turkey day'? why can't we just call it Thanksgiving???

there are plenty of other debates going on involving religion.
this isnt one of them. the puritans did not want to invent. do you know anyting about the puritans? besides the fact that im now reading the Scarlet Letter, which is set in New England in the 17th century, I am currently taking AP US History. i know what i'm talking about. the puritans we're very religious, and they were afraid of turning towards satan, and thus they strayed from anything that was too..artificial. hence, a lack of technological development. and what questions did you ask? |
