if you connect to someone else's wireless web can they get into your computer or find out any of your information?

by not sharing them.
i believe there aren't really laws covering this... it's more of connecting to someone else's network with malicious intent is illegal. you can always claim you thought that was your network. |

I believe the law is that you can access an unprotected network as long as you don't do anything that constitutes breaking in (cracking WEP keys and such). I'm not exactly sure on that though. |
