its SO much easier to make friends at camp than at school!!! why is that... |

At camp, you automatically have more in common than academics (which means no competition in that aspect either), you spend more quality time together (you can talk rather than just sit there near them), and you know less people, so you're forced to bond rather than cling to your familiar group.
