Sammi, I think its more of a "I'm straightedge so stop f**king offering me drinks" thing.
Some people do it for the scene, but I could imagine Kathleen is the type who'd say she's straightedge so that she doesn't have to state every little thing she doesn't believe in doing. "Hey, want a drink?" "No, thats okay" "Want a smoke?" "No, thats okay" "Want a --" "I'M STRAIGHTEDGE DAMMIT" "Oh, okay. Bye." |
