xanga ad?, im not sure if its the ad or the skin Options

so i posted a topic before because i thought i had a search bar problem but its not. its the ad thing. i know technically we're not supposed to remove it...so i dont want to do that...but the skin i have, its all the way up at the top and is covered quite a bit by the ad so im just wondering how i can get it to go lower. i tried adjusting the margin top option but it didnt work...
