wow, yeah... im not a jock or anything, so when i see the jocks doing it, or them doing it to me lol, i just laugh it off and do it back
but sum times i see other kids shoot the guys who do it dirty looks... its all in good fun WHAT DO YOU THINK?

well patting an athlete during gameplay anywhere else on his body will hinder him. Think about it!!
pat him on the shoulder? He's already tired! Don't put your weight on him!! high five on the hand? all that energy wasted on moving the arms? he's too tired. =] slapping the guy on the butt is great, it's where the center of balance is, so he isn't gonna fall or lose balance if you hit him. it requires no energy on his part. touching motivation is more effective than verbal motivation! =] That was my indepth-wannabe psychologist part. Really, we all slap each other cuz it's way hott, and you need some 'primal needs' in a game. ;D Sorry if you don't understand. =| Go to heath ed and psych class, then come back and read. |
