QUOTE MILWAUKEE - Two people walking along railroad tracks just south of Milwaukee were struck and killed by an Amtrak train bound for Chicago on Saturday, authorities said. Amtrak spokeswoman Marcie Golgoski said the two were trespassing on rail property when they were hit about 11:15 a.m. "It's an area that's not a pedestrian crossing," she said. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's office and the Oak Creek Police Department declined to release further details. Golgoski said the none of the train passengers was hurt. They were put on another train while the one involved remained at the scene during the investigation http://wfrv.com/topstories/local_story_316164502.html ^Video I knew one of those girls... Wow... they were only 14 and 17. This is crazy. Those train tracks are by my house, too. RIP Heather Bates and Arielle Daniel |

it does seem like suicide, but aren't train tracks fenced? i know they could have climbed over it.... if i were to commit suicide, i wouldnt want to get run over by a train. imagine the guilt the conducter must be feeling... and it must be painful if you don't die. R.I.P.
